I love that you can find out a great tip for free, but for years I had notebooks filled with all the tips. But did I actually use them?

Nope. I just felt overwhelmed and like I 'should' be doing everything.

I got to a point where all I could do was worry about growing and not actually doing anything towards it.

So I stopped shoulding, took my approach back to basics and focused on SEO & Pinterest which cleared the feeling of overwhelm and helped me design a clear roadmap for sustainable growth.

I find it hard to invest in myself. I like to think through the pros and cons before committing, especially when it comes to business investments. But can I tell you a story... I bought a new computer last week. I needed one, had done for a while really but had gone back and forth about making the investment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've been thinking about replacing it since November but always found a reason not to. 'My laptop is fine', 'I can't spend that much money on my business', We're in a global pandemic, I should be cautious' etc.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So why did I just do it last week? My work rate had become slower. The old computer was taking twice as long to do things and it was taking ages to get even the simplest tasks done. So I committed, to a huge expense (for me at least), and to the thought that the investment was worth it. That by investing I could work more efficiently, get things done easier and keep growing my business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And do you know what? I got two new clients last week.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So all this to say investing in your business is hard but in my experience, is so worth it.
